Based on my experience of 1st year, I want to knock down some inconveniences and flaws to ensure there are more opportunities for everyone including:

  • Creating more flexibility of attending other classes.
    • For long commuters, early morning classes might be easy to miss.
  • Provide more summer work opportunities for Year 1 students
    • Collaboration with other departments like medicine
    • Assist CV writing by providing CV workshop
  • More guidance on how to adjust easily to the upcoming year.
    • Improving a welcome pack, fresher’s week, and inductions.
    • Tactics regarding how to answer complex lab reports
  • Make conversation with professors more approachable
  • Setting up an improved student feedback system regarding lectures
  • Extend opening and closing time for UCL pharmacy library during weekday
