Pi Media: President

Hi, I’m Nell, and I’ll be going into my third year of BA linguistics.

As president, I would love to work more on making our three branches a cohesive unit. Working as the social media officer this year has given me a great insight into the running of the society, allowing me to collaborate with each branch, separately and together. I would love to mediate intra - as well as inter - relationships for the society, aiming to strike a complementary balance between our highly regarded professional reputation, and the nurturing of an inclusive and supportive environment for both our members and consumers. I believe it is important to ensure we maintain our high standards and provide our members with as much opportunity for development and exposure as possible, while also delivering a space to find enjoyment and friendships outside of studies (something we naturally seek in our extra-curricular activities).

I like to think of myself as a rational ear, always happy to listen and advise, no matter how big or small the idea or problem anyone might have. I’m excited to see how Pi will continue to grow over the next year, and would love to be a part of guiding our society in its evolution.
