Nature and Conservation Society: President

Being a biologist and a keen hiker, Nature and Conservation Society couldn't fit my interests better. I have been a member of the society since the second day of my first term at UCL, and being able to connect with fellow students who deeply appreciate nature and conservation has been one of my most rewarding experiences at UCL. 

This year we have seen the society grow in many ways and I would aim to carry on all the amazing work done to date. Putting the voices of members would be a priority for me - we are nothing but a diverse group of people with a common goal of conservation. With plans for next year to run fully in-person, I would aim to expand our portfolio of in-person events, from more talks to practical nature exploration. 

It would not be my first being in a leadership position. In sixth form, I have led and founded two student societies, which have proven to be a success with over 40 combined regular attendees. Since I have only grown as a leader and am ready to face any challenge as the president. 

I would be honour to receive your vote and mandate to lead the society next year.
