Museums Society: Welfare Officer

I have already served this year in the role of Welfare Officer and I hope very much to do so again! Aside from the responsibility of society inclusivity inherent in the role I have been looking at the social elements of the society, something which if re-elected I would seek to expand. Having been a society officer for a year already, I would hope to aid any incoming committee members in learning the ropes of society administration and organisation. I have learnt a lot from the outgoing senior committee so far in regards how a society can be successful and run smoothly and with their help have been responsible for organising and leading a number of society events as well as encouraging collaboration and outreach with other UCL societies and teams. Ultimately, I want to allow the continued opportunity for the discovery and exploration of London's wonderful array of museums, galleries and exhibitions which the Museums Society has allowed me to experience in my first year.
