Hi, my name is Sasha and I am first year Politics, Sociology and Eastern European Studies student here at UCL.
I would like to apply for the position of Treasurer as I feel like I have the responsibility and management skills necessary for this position. As a Russian-speaker and having friends from Kazakhstan, I am highly interested in learning about the culture and playing a role in organising and participating in the societies’ events.
Having previous experience in leadership roles as being part of the Student Council and leading societies at my previous school, I believe that I could be a positive asset to this society.
