Saluton, saluto, toki, hello!
I'm Justin, a dedicated linguaphile and Idist (sorry Esperantists!). I am very excited to run for the position of Magazine Editor.
Languages are not merely a means of communication but a window into the rich tapestry of human history, thought and culture. As Magazine Editor, I aim to channel my appreciation of and passion in languages into creating an engaging and informative publication that celebrates linguistic diversity and explores the lesser-known stories of endangered and constructed languages.
Creativity is at the heart of linguistic exploration, and I'm committed to infusing the magazine with fresh and innovative ideas. I am also eager to contribute articles (especially on Ido and Toki Pona).
In this role I aim to be a unifying force within UCLEELS, dedicated to fostering a sense of community among our members by creating a publication that would join together our many topics of interest into one single vessel of expression for the one thing we're all guilty of being passionate about here at EELS - languages.
