Election post
I am a local student living in London, however I have lived abroad for many years and so I am able to empathise with the experiences of both home and international students.
I am studying chemical engineering and am keen on the role of first year representative for the engineering society.
I am standing because I believe I am a confident speaker and excellent communicator and so will effectively be able to hear and voice the concerns of my fellow peers.
I perceive myself to be hardworking and determined with good time management skills that will enable me to strive and succeed at making this role my top priority and carry out my duties to the highest standard.
I take pride in being a team player and promise to ensure every voice is heard and that we are able to come up with solutions to our concerns that are pleasing and beneficial to us all.
In the real-world, engineers of all disciplines work together and build connections and so I am interested in helping to create more opportunities for all of us to build those connections and relationships from earlier on through both social events and more career-based opportunities.
I urge you to consider me as your representative as I believe together we can maximise our experience as engineering students at UCL.
