Hi Everyone,

Your favourite STEM Nerdie and Kinesis Magazine President here.

I am running for Treasurer to ensure the short-term continuation of the amazing society Cheesegrater.

My first introduction to the society was when my friends were in a tough space following Year 2 Examinations. The Edinburgh Fringe Show was a moment when my friends laughed again, that smile I remember seeing back in first year truly returned. Something the Medical School failed to do was provide a safe space for my friends yet, this society of Satire and Comedy was a turning point for them. 

I write this with the President sitting next to me, her tears abated for the time as I said I would fill the position. I am honoured to have been asked to have run for this position. On a serious note, I have run the amazing society of Kinesis since last year and, have managed to schedule a series of talks, socials and events with a variety of societies. I will be the dog in the fire saying "this is Fine" to members who ask what they need to do next. I have kept Kinesis within budget, even managed to turn a small increase in revenue last year, so my financial background is present.

So, vote for me (or else this would have been a big waste of time and Zhenya will 100% cry).
