This is a programme for the gifted and talented Year 6 & 7 students and it will take place on 15 October, between 09.30am-2.30pm. You will take part in a one-off engaging and challenging collaborative Maths Session - to be organised in small group/ workshop type of a format.
The event will be planned and led by our Maths Department at the UCL Academy and we're looking to recruit around 12 (max) UCL students - studying Maths or STEM subjects at UCL. Ideally, you would also be interested in working with and tutoring lower school children.
(Info: 60% of our total students come from a disadvantaged background.)
FYI: There may be a need, prior to the event, for a pre-online Teams Meeting between you as a UCL student and our key Maths Department colleagues.
