Progress Paved is a pioneering initiative aimed at bridging the gap between educational and financial inequalities in early career pathways. Our mission is to empower students from state schools in the London area by providing them with access to invaluable resources and personalized encouragement to pursue internships and spring weeks.

At Progress Paved, we understand the significant disparities that exist in opportunities for students from different socio-economic backgrounds. To address this issue, we have partnered with UCL and recruited a dedicated team of student volunteers who are passionate about making a positive impact in their community.

Through our program, UCL student volunteers are carefully matched with students from state schools, forming supportive mentorship relationships. These mentors offer guidance, share experiences, and provide practical assistance to help their mentees navigate the complexities of the internship and spring week application processes.

Our approach is holistic, focusing not only on providing access to resources but also on fostering a culture of encouragement and empowerment. We believe that by equipping students with the necessary tools and confidence, we can pave the way for them to achieve their aspirations and break down barriers to success.
