Healthwatch Camden
We are a valuable voice in health and social care in Camden. We give out information and advice and champion equality for local people. We have the power to influence the delivery and design of local services, and work in partnership with local organisations. We help shape local services not just for the people who use them, but also for anyone who might need to in future.

Description

Healthwatch Camden provides a collective voice for health and social care users in Camden. We collaborate with the voluntary and community sector to disseminate information, gather views and experience. In partnership with other local organisations, we also undertake focused research and gather evidence. We use this evidence to influence local policy.

We are currently conducting research on Endometriosis in Camden. We are speaking with women and girls across Camden to understand their experiences with Endometriosis, and women's health in general. We need volunteers for two weeks to help us conduct public surveys and interviews with research participants.

Duties

- Visit public spaces and community venues across Camden to carry out surveys about Endometriosis with the female population in Camden.

- Identify and visit spaces to maximise participation in the research.

The Projects Lead and the Outreach Officer.

Time commitment

Volunteers will be required for in-person visits, lasting 1-2hours, and required across most days of the week for the duration of the role.
