Come try out 'the art of the eight limbs'!
Muay Thai, which is a martial art from Thailand is one of the fastest growing sports in the world, having gained Olympic recognition recently in the last few years. It incorporates punches, elbows, kicks and knees.
This 1 hour taster session will give you an insight into what we do in our regular 90 minute sessions: warm up, padwork, conditioning etc.
This particular session is held in collaboration with UCL African & Caribbean Society to encourage students of African and Caribbean heritage to get involved in muay thai to celebrate Black History Month. We welcome people with any level of experience- whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced fighter already!
All you need for this session is some activewear, a bottle of water and lots of enthusiasm.
Join our taster session to discover what muay thai at UCL is all about!
The taster session will be held in the downstairs sports hall of Somerstown Community Sports Centre (134 Chalton Street, Camden, NW1 1RX).
