Pin-Jung (Mondo) Lee

Hey everyone! I'm Mondo, a Year 2 MSci Theoretical Physics student. Hopefully you've found my candidate image at least mildly amusing amongst all the photos :)

As a member of our physics department here at UCL, I've been inspired by the connections and opportunities that our Physics Society provides. Having attended many fantastic events hosted by PhySoc, I'm eager to step up and contribute to the vibrant and intellectually stimulating environment that makes our society so special.

I envision a PhySoc that not only welcomes newcomers with open arms, but also ignites their passion for physics. Whether it's by inviting captivating speakers for thought-provoking talks, organizing prep sessions for competitions like PLANCKS, or collaborating closely with our department to bring exciting events to life, I'm committed to fostering an atmosphere where every physics enthusiast can thrive.

Drawing from my experience as a course representative for nearly two years, I bring to the table a wealth of skills in gathering and representing student opinions, ensuring transparent communication (through media such as online bulletin boards), and organizing events. These same qualities will serve me well as your Academic Officer, as I work to ensure our physics community continues to grow and flourish.
