I am standing for Media Officer because I believe my creativity, imagination and technological skills can be harnessed to ensure Paksoc's social media channels are constantly updated with engaging posts. Should I get the role, I would prioritise posting methodically and consistently to keep engagement levels up. I would aim to make posters about upcoming events in a timely manner so that they can be promoted more by both us and other universities, increasing turnout. I would also aim to make TikToks or Instagram reels promoting events, as well as posting polls and Q&A boxes to engage with our followers. Overall, I would tie trendiness and aesthetics in with consistency and analytics to boost engagement and, in turn, increase turnout.
