Throughout my time at ucl so far, music and music society has consistently been the most enjoyable and memorable activity. Moving into my third year, I would like to help provide others with similar opportunities create new memories and to enjoy and share their hobby to the same high standard as was available for myself.

To this aim, I am a strong believer that performance is one of the most under practiced skills, and therefore apart from all of the other duties and obligations that come with this role (maintenance and expension of biscuit budget, sourcing conductors etc) I would be keen to implement more opportunities to perform peices that you as members have independently practiced.

It would be nice it this could lead to small chamber music groups growing from the main orchestra (string quartets etc), with the possibility of small performances between rehersals or at other designated times.

Any level and any performance would be strongly encouraged and supported in a friendly atmosphere, and it could be a good opportunity to both learn and to share great music outside of the main rehersal.
