Experiencing COVID-19 lockdowns and overcoming with Bulimia at age 13 heightened my awareness of the vital role nutrition, exercise, sleep, and mental well-being play in overall health. Witnessing my grandma's recovery from gastrointestinal cancer with nutritional therapy motivated me to incorporate whole-foods into my diet for disease prevention. These events motivated me to build healthy habits—morning runs, journaling, and dancing for 6 years counting, hence the reason I’d like to inspire others to embark on similar transformative journeys.

Eager to lead with purpose, I propose 3 key targets if chosen as President:

  1. Fostering a sense of community with some friendly competition :)
  • Implement a sub-committee system allowing members to sign up for specific focus areas like mental health, nutrition, exercise, well-being, and education
  • Set monthly targets and goals for each sub-committee, with rewards for members achieving the most targets, such as free Pilates/yoga/dance lessons with professionals.
  1. Education and Awareness—elevating quality of life through science

Inviting more guest speakers to unravel the science behind controversial health myths, such as: Intermittent Fasting, The gut microbiome’s impact on digestion, The correlation between disrupted circadian rhythm and poor mental health.

  1. Work-life balance— Introduce dinner parties with each-member-brings-their-own-country’s dish & movie nights with pizza to cultivate friendships within our community
