Eric Zhou

When I start my life as a college student in UCL, Kendo Club comes to me. It is the second year of me in this lovely club. I can say that kendo and UCL Kendo Club takes up most of my spare time. Therefore this club is ultimately important for me. Next year is going to be my last year of being an undergraduate student. I want to contribute more to the club that I spend most time with. Therefore I am here for being elected as the captain.

I joined this club as a completely beginner, while with dedicated training and fighting spirit, I made decent progress in my kendo skills. Nowadays I have solid basics and am showing more potential to make more progress. One-year experience as welfare officer also makes me know what people want in this club which makes me fit more in this place.

As captain I will try to design a more interesting and effective menu for training; share my thoughts and secrets about improving;  be a model of dedicated kendo practice and so on. I will try my best to fit into this position and prove my worth being part of the committee memeber.
