Hi, I’m Ranko, a first-year PPE student.

I'm running for Careers Officer to enhance career-related events and information for both Japanese and non-Japanese students. My passion stems from genuinely enjoying learning about different companies and career paths at such events, which have helped me to get a clearer picture of my future career. With an additional Careers Officer next year, I think it's an ideal time for improvements, while maintaining the quality and content of our current work and events.

As a Careers Officer, I will:

  • Create opportunities for JSOC students to explore a wider range of career options.
     
  • Establish an online platform (e.g., Google Spreadsheet) for easy access to all the latest career information in one place.
     
  • Expand career events for non-Japanese students by strengthening connections with agencies.

Why me?

  • Strong Time Management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks, events, and appointments with companies and agencies.
     
  • Organizational and Leadership abilities to successfully develop and implement new initiatives I mentioned above.
     
  • Having spent my entire life in Japan and engaged in various extracurricular activities involving collaboration with companies and local city officials, I can communicate effectively with people from companies and agencies in a professional manner.
