Hi everyone! Having been a passionate feminist my whole life and a member of the society this past year, I would love to become Activism and Fundraising Officer.

Feminism has been a constant in my life for as long as I can remember, and it's one of my biggest interests and causes, both personally and academically- as an ISPS student, it's one of the topics I most often explore in my degree. This is why I joined GenFem, and I would love to have a more hands-on approach to the society's activism in the committee. Additionally, I have quite a lot of experience fundraising for charity. I've organised events from concerts to bake sales and auctions, and I'd really like to start fundraising at UCL, too.

Besides being a committed activist and an experienced fundraiser, I'm a politics student, which means I have academic knowledge on topics like feminism and social justice which I'd bring to the committee. I also have leadership and event planning experience, both from secondary school and other UCL societies.

GenFem is an incredible society, and I love being a member. Our conversations are always both so thought-provoking and enjoyable, and I would love to have the opportunity to help lead the society in committee. If elected, I will make sure to collaborate with the rest of the committee and the society members to plan GenFem's fundraisers and events and increase our work in political and social activism. Thank you! :)
