Marilyn Mak

Hi everyone, my name is Marilyn and I am thrilled to be running for Drama Producer.

Filmmaking has always been fascinating to me as I love how creative ideas come alive through stories told in visually captivating ways, the power to evoking emotions, and allowing endless imagination beyond reality.

With previous experience as the assistant producer from another society, I am equipped with organising, problem-solving, and communication skills, which would be essential for producing a drama. Moreover, my leadership and teamwork skills are put into practice by being the Academic Rep on UCL’s foundation course, giving me confidence in being a Drama Producer, guiding the path of film production.   

I have participated in numerous events in film soc such as the 48-hour film challenge and met different people who are passionate in filmmaking as myself, leading to my desire to further integrate myself in film soc as a Drama Producer, working with other talented people in producing a drama film.
