The role of Sponsorship Officer within Dermatology Society seamlessly aligns with my interest in dermatology and my drive to actively contribute to its advancement. The role also provides an opportunity to build strong collaborative relationships within the community as well as enhance my knowledge on fundraising strategies, networking techniques and project management.

Having delved into the realm of dermatological research through my magazine article on 'AI in diagnostic dermatology,' and attending the Diverse Dermatology Lecture series, I fostered a genuine interest and a keen desire to immerse myself further into this field. My previous experience as a Sales and Marketing Officer for another society has endowed me with invaluable skills in strategic planning, maximising engagement and promotional activities. This hands-on experience has honed my ability to identify opportunities, foster strong partnerships, and drive results—a skill set that I am eager to leverage in securing sponsorships and facilitating collaborations within this society. 

I am committed to contributing meaningfully through accessing diverse sponsors such as partnering with technology companies to develop interactive digital resources for medical students and collaborating with skincare brands for educational workshops.

Joining this society would provide me the opportunity to work within a team of like-minded enthusiasts as well as contribute to the growth of this society.
