Hi, I'm a 2nd year Computer Science student. In a world dominated by deep learning, I am still a fan of simpler statistical learning methods. I believe data science is a really powerful tool which can be used in nearly all industries so naturally it is something that students studying any subject should know about. This is why I want to be part of the DSS Committee: to organize better events, supported by larger companies, reach a wider audience and help develop skills that matter. As the treasurer, I will be able to ensure the optimal use of society funds for the right causes: more free food counts as a right cause :)
