Hi I’m Nat!
I would love to be your Welfare Officer because I want to continue to let the friendly environment that we have flourish. As a fresher this year, I got to experience the welcoming environment which the club has. My aim is to make sure everyone feels included and welcomed in general, while playing rugby on and off the pitch. Although I seem shy at first, I genuinely love getting to know new people and hope to spread laughs all around.
As someone who played touch rugby for my high school, I can empathise with the stresses and pressures that can come with balancing life, school, and sports. My goal is to provide support for the team. No matter if you are having a good day or a bad day, I’d hope to be someone you can approach. Be it - being someone that can be reached out to for advice, just to chat with, or if you just need someone to listen to you. I want to make sure that the club can be a safe space for everyone to let loose and be themselves.
Also, just saying… sharing is my love language so I'll definitely bring treats for everyone from time to time! Additionally, I have many ideas for welfare socials that we could do - ranging from picnics to self-care nights.
Overall, I would love to be part of the experience of creating a fun and positive atmosphere in the club. I just wanna ensure good vibes and smiles all around ~
