Having been on the MedTech committee for two years in a row now, my dedication and love for the society makes me want to continue the journey in leading as president. I have a number of ideas I would like to implement for the society to be even greater (explain at hustings) along with continuing the great work previously done in the years. Last year I organised both the mentorship programme and the AI in Medicine conference which were both online, and also organising the AI in Medicine conference this year which bought on many more challenges as it was in person. Having also previously participated in the coding workshops, I understand the work that goes into each of our major events and have the experience in what needs to be done to run them successfully.

I am currently on a PhD programme in AI in Medical Imaging. My keen interest in the MedTech world has given me an extensive network in the field both inside and outside UCL. I have a vast amount of work experience from founding/leading the dance society (undergrad), having committee roles in the netball club and the mathematics society (undergrad), and also through working in the industry for multiple years on a wide range of jobs between before joining UCL.

I am a big people person, always keen on connecting, listening to others and making people feel welcome and comfortable. Along with my problem solving and organisational skills, I feel as though these will all benefit as a leader of the committee and society.
