Hey everyone! My name is Sarrah and I'm a 2nd year Biomedical Science student, running for Mentorship Programme Executive for MedTech society.

Attending several MedTech events this year, including the AI in Medicine conference, has left me with a deep appreciation for not only the remarkable field of technology in medicine, but more so for the platform that MedTech society provided me with to delve into it. My fascination for the scope this field offers, coupled with my knowledge of biomedicine, motivates me to be part of this society in a way that would allow me to share this with others. I recognise the way in which the Mentorship Programme brings together an experienced mind with a fresh, curious one, and as Mentorship Programme Executive, I would love to support and contribute to this. I believe my experience in communication and event organisation as School Editor and Student Body President in high school gives me the skillset required for this position. As a proactive, outgoing, and hardworking person, I would offer a valuable hand in recruiting mentors from different fields to create a program that is even more holistic than it is already. As Mentorship Executive, I hope to introduce engaging and personalised activities for the mentor-mentee pairs, to make the experience as fruitful as possible.

Having been at the receiving end of the opportunities MedTech provides, Mentorship Executive would allow me to play a role on the other end of the spectrum, to give back!
