After being a part of Medtech society during my first year at UCL I believe that the society truly wants to shed light on current advances as well as give its members the most opportunities to strive in their desired fields in the future. From the events I attended, the AI in Medicine conference was the one that caught my eye the most since it combines the rather controversial and innovative topic of AI with the life-saving nature of medicine. Therefore, out of the positions available within the society, I felt most compelled to apply for the position of AI in Medicine Executive.

I am aware that the job requires a certain diligence as it is often referred to as the flagship event, and so I am prepared to bring my hardworking nature to the table. Additionally, during my time networking with other members at the event, I was able to gain feedback on potential changes, and things others found more or less interesting. Thus, I believe that implementing public opinion into the decision-making process will aid in assuring a productive conference for all parties. In regards to procuring sponsorships, formally reaching out to other individuals is no issue, whether it be by email or in person.

In conclusion, with open-mindedness, cooperation, and attention to detail, I am certain that we can make even more individuals be inspired by the conference.
