To me, the Malaysian Society is not just a society but a family of other individuals who are in the same position as myself — away from home. Seeing that feeling lonely and homesick is likely in this situation, I am determined to bring some part of Malaysia to my fellow Malaysians in UCL. I am passionate to make MSoc a place that Malaysians can seek refuge in when they are craving the warmth and familiarity of home.

On a skill-based level, I have had many experiences in leadership roles, and I find that I genuinely enjoy the responsibility, time management, and dedication that comes with these roles. I have always been someone who devotes my all into everything I do, and MSoc will definitely be no different.

Having participated in the RD program, I understand that the president’s duty should be to not just lead, but support and be prepared to help out the team whenever needed. As president, I will guarantee that the BOD works not as separate individuals, but rather in unity to deliver success to MSoc as a whole.
