I wish to use my own experience and understanding of running a club to benefit the Magic Society.

I was previously the Treasurer of the society and this has given me a platform to better understand the workings of the club. I would like to take this opportunity to shape the future of the club by sharing the joys of magic with the larger school population and at the same time working towards having a more inclusive society.

If provided this opportunity, I would like to use my experience in magic to plan more events with other societies to for more publicity. This is to give members more chances to interact with other students from UCL and at the same time gives them more opportunities to take center stage. With more opportunities to perform and practice, members will be able to work towards improving their confidence while performing.

I would like to construct  an atmosphere that welcomes all students to the society. This is to ensure that all students and members feel safe when joining the club. This creates a more conducive environment for members to interact and learn from one another in order to enhance everyone’s experience within the club.

All in all, I want to make sure that everyone enjoys their time together while forging bonds with each other, creating memories that they can fondly look back upon in the future.
