I'm standing for Vice President because I want The Jitsu club to be more than just weekly trainings. I believe it deserves to be a fully-fledged university society with socials, preceding reputation and most importantly, a sense of community. The last club president completely abandoned the club, in addition to Covid-19 among other things this has lead to the club being depleted of resources (i.e. insufficient training space, not having the money to completely subsidize event attendance). If put in place I could use my experience from being on the commitees for other societies to plan socials outside of training, secure funding to allow attendance for events off-campus, in addition to trying to find a larger space to train in, so that we can safely expand the club.
