I have thoroughly enjoyed working alongside an incredible committee and so many members to produce an amazing year of events and discussions as welfare officer of Jewish society this year. Currently I’ve been working alongside other committee members to plan our biggest event of the year- the Jsoc ball! Whilst planning these events is sometimes hard work, it gives me such pleasure to help put on events for Jewish students on campus working to bring together jews from all over the world.

Being Jewish society president would allow me to continue putting on events for our members ensuring there is are a range of events with something for everyone. Whether you are religious, someone who is not affiliated at all or simply interested in Judaism, I want Jewish society to feel like it is a place for you to come and meet other Jewish students. I am extremely passionate about creating a space for Jewish students on campus and being president would allow me to work alongside other organisations to continue making this happen. Furthermore, it would allow me to implement better systems of communication between our committee and members to ensure they are kept up to date and informed of our upcoming events and how they can get involved.

I believe the fact that I was on the committee this previous year provides me with invaluable skills to be the next Jsoc president and I would love put on yet another incredible year of events for Jewish students on campus, continuing to give back and grow our UCL Jsoc community.
