I am running for Head of Marketing to advertise and support the UCL Indian Society while working together with a group of dedicated individuals to help further the success of the society and promote a greater sense of community and belonging.

As Head of Marketing, I would like to broaden the reach of the UCL Indian Society to encompass a greater audience and increase the impact our society can have. Having had experience in online digital marketing already, I have the required skills needed to use platforms such as Instagram and TikTok to promote upcoming events such as Dhamaal and Jashn. As an FYR for Indian Society, I have already been involved in this process and have successfully collaborated with other members to create TikToks and Instagram Reels.

Commitment to the role of Head of Marketing is essential. My dedication to my work has been shown through my inputs as an FYR in smaller events such as Chai in the Quad and in the India Week Bowling Social. My passion for marketing is not new-found as highlighted by being a core member of my Sixth Form’s Medical Society. Reaching out to guest speakers and advertising their talks to peers at my college taught me transferable skills that I can use to publicise new opportunities and functions provided by the Indian Society.

I aim to elevate the profile and brand of the Indian Society by adding my own creative twist to the promotions in order to entice new members to join and engage existing members.
