Hi I’m manasi and I’m running to be sponsorship officer as I have loved being part of hsoc this year and connecting more with my culture by immersing myself into the events it has offered- being in rangeela has been my highlight so far! The sense of community in this society has been so refreshing and I would love to have the chance to continue this, and be part of the team creating a hsoc family that all members can make the best memories in. By securing the top sponsorships deals we will have greater opportunities to put on unforgettable events which with my commitment and drive, I am certain I can significantly contribute to. I have always enjoyed working in teams and being deputy head girl at school means I have organised events and liased with a variety of people. My level 2 certificate in financial education coupled with my enthusiasm to learn equips me with the skills required to draw up the sponsorship forms. Communication is one of my strengths, demonstrated by the fact I was part of a telephone service helping to battle loneliness throughout covid, therefore am equipped with the interpersonal skills required to negotiate with sponsors. I understand the sheer amount of work that goes into putting on these large scale events and so I am confident that alongside my team we can get the best sponsorships and put on the biggest hsoc events this year! I’m energetic, love to get involved and have some fun so I hope I get the opportunity to be part of this amazing committee!
