Gloria Wong

As a member of Freestyle, I've been exposed to many new styles of dance that I have never really had the chance to try before, and I could also feel my dance and freestyling improving over time as the weekly workshops gave me a chance to practice in front of a mirror and in front of other amazing dancers. Though jams and cyphers may seem very intimidating at first, especially since I did not have that much experience freestyling before, everyone in the society is very encouraging and that made me more comfortable as well. I definitely feel a greater appreciation for freestyle dancers so I want to make this society a safe space for dancers of all levels to learn about different styles of dance and feel more comfortable and confident in freestyling.
