Women's football deserves to be a space in which we help each other grow and acquire confidence, and having a Welfare Officer who is serious and responsible while also open and approachable can help do so by encouraging a safe and healthy environment.

I would love to hold this position for UCLWFC as I consider myself to be a social person who enjoys helping others, and I look forward to helping with the development of the club! I believe that your university experience can be just as important as your studies, and being part of a welcoming society can be the perfect addition.

Bringing a focus on mental health, organizing a fun event on National Girls and Women in Sports Day (February 7th, 2024) as well as occasionally sending out anonymous Google Forms with quick questions about how members perceive the club and their experience, can all be steps to creating an enjoyable setting. The Forms can be highly informative by giving people the opportunity to make any comments or remarks that they would not have thought about making or that they would rather share confidentially.

I strongly believe I can make positive changes along with my fellow Welfare Officer and, by being the person that people can reach out to, help UCL Women's Football grow and improve!
