Attending the Share the Vision Conference 2022 was truly my inspiration for me nominating myself as President. I first hand saw the impact that this society’s events can have on women like me and I want to be a leader in this fight for equality. Not only did the variety of speakers truly educate and equip me with knowledge on opportunities available, but the friendliness of this committee empowered me to be active in my vision. My vision consists of carrying on this legacy that the WinF 2021 committee has built.

• One of my main aims is to grow our sponsorship programmes. Seeing the impact HSBC (a gold sponsor) had both in terms of minimising the price but maximising the outcome for the Conference really shed light on the significance of sponsors. I want to expand our sponsorship network by reaching out to alternate branches such as Hedge Funds or Corporate Law firms.
• I plan to host more in person interactive events such as panel discussions as they offer far more than what virtual events can in terms of empowering women to directly promote female participation into the finance industry.
• As a WinF FYR, I supported the creation of a mentorship scheme with a sponsor firm. I hope to implement and expand this scheme by organising a way for the mentees to shadow their mentor for a working day.

My passion to grow this community and to offer The Guild many more life changing experiences is really what will make me thrive as The President.
