UCL Tennis is one of the friendliest and liveliest societies on campus. Members of all abilities can push themselves to improve on-court through practices, friendly matches, and competitive tennis. But there is also plenty going on off-court: a range of social events running throughout the year. UCL Tennis has been one of the highlights of my university experience. I am standing so that I can do my bit to ensure that the next cohort of UCL students can have a similarly fantastic, if not better, experience at our tennis club.

With a year of committee experience, as social secretary, I have built good relationships with our existing members which, I believe, will aid me in being sensitive to their needs. As Treasurer, my priority will be managing the club finances such that we can afford to provide our members with the best possible tennis experience whilst still making sure that participation is as accessible as possible. Over the course of the year, I hope to earn the nickname “Spreadsheet Dan”!

This role would also see me liaise extensively with the President. I am confident that, through my past engagement with the club and my interpersonal skills, I shall be able to forge a good working relationship with the new President that will benefit the society.

I look forward to the year ahead!
