Hi everyone! I'm Jasneet and I am standing for Neurosurgery Chair to express students' opinions, seek change invariably and be a pivotal role in shaping the society's future.
From first-year academic representative to a current core member of the Neurosurgery committee, my leadership responsibilities have propelled me to cultivate an in-depth vision to provide student opportunities in the forthcoming year.

Neurosurgery is a cutting-edge field that combines art and science; by contributing to the organisation of the Encephalon Lecture Series, I was appreciative of the opportunity to discuss the field's evolution with other students and renowned consultants. As a finalist of the Artificial Intelligence 6th RCSEd essay prize, I hope to continue the Encephalon series but also encompass talks revolving around technological advances in various neurosurgical specialities.

Perhaps what I'm most keen on promoting is an in-person Neurosurgical Skills course, involving multiple workshops for students to gain greater knowledge on specific procedures (such as surgical microscopy and OLIF) and journal clubs! Not only is this an opportunity for students to immerse themselves in their interests, but also enhance their resumes. Stemming from this, I also aim to offer tailored CV mentorship for students with specific neurosurgery aspirations or those who wish for guidance.
It would be a privilege to become your Neurosurgery Chair and I hope I have your vote :)
