Want to play social squash or a match but no court?

We’ve all been there, and know how it feels. You want this changed – and it will. Let me guess, you also want people together as a community rather than as a set of rallies. I want to facilitate this relationship and skill-building as a President with these plans:

  1. Bring back community events. We all want our annual “Squashatlon” back – a 24hr charity event where the love for squash gives back to our community.

  1. Get teams and social players closer. We should make a better effort at organising cross-club socials to break that barrier between team and social players.  A “buddy scheme” to put social players on a better track for a team spot?

  1. Make the club an active part of campus life. Squash should be an active part of campus life. Our club can grow in outreach and marketing by targeting more sponsorships and creating merchandise.

I believe that being your Welfare Officer this year has shown you my support for everyone. I hope I can have your support now too.
