Kim Owen

I am Kim the current vice-president for pole fitness. I believe I would make a good President having learnt so much under the tutelage of the current president Emma, from how to challenge injustices within sports, to making pole open and welcoming.I want to see the plans for the society set in motion this year continue for future polers, including increased open practice / class access for Post Grads and a wider range of workshops for all members. Lastly, I love UCL pole, it has been there for me in my short time here I want to continue to make it accessible to all.

Isabel Dalgleish

Hi everyone! I'm Isabel and I am running to be your President (again)!

I’ve been poling since 2017 and my fav move is an Ayesha.

If you are new then you won't know me as I'm currently on my year abroad (I study languages so have plenty of time to dedicate to pole), but I am keeping up to date on everything Pole is doing and helping in the background.

What you can expect from me:

- A warm welcome: everyone is welcome at Pole. I will work to ensure everyone is accommodated by continuing previous committee's work of funding leggings for those who don't feel comfortable showing skin, and working on making our club more accessible to all. Pole is for anybody and any body.

- Dedication to the club: I have been on Committee since 1st year. Anyone around during my year as President (2 years ago) knows how much I commit to pole and care about our club. I absolutely love the community we have here at UCL Pole Fitness and I will happily spend the final year of my degree in the studio. I have been teaching Pole and Aerial at UCL since my 2nd year.

- An advocate for your club: as one of UCL's largest clubs, we need strong representation within the Union. During my previous presidency we had a solid relationship with the Union. We also won Silver Club Dev Award, Diversity + Inclusion and were shortlisted for Club of the Year.

See you in April for IUPDC (I'm co-hosting) and next year in the studio!
