Hello! I’m a first year student currently studying Population Health Sciences (Data Science) BSc, and I would love to be your Treasurer in the Mental Health Society.

Besides continuing to champion the fantastic range of informative, mindful and feel-good events held in the previous year, my primary objective as treasurer would be to engage with all members of the society to hear exactly what sort of events you would like to happen. I would like to make sure the budget is allocated in ways that reflect every member of the society. That process starts with listening to you, and encouraging your feedback on our events - good or bad, let me know. Also, if you have ideas, I would love to hear them!

Prior to joining UCL, I worked for five years for the UK’s largest health and beauty retailer. Most of this time was spent within the pharmacy; dispensing medications, and bridging the gap between patients and their GP’s. Prior to this, I was responsible for the retail operations within a third of the store -  including making sure that all inventory was sufficient and accounted for. I am confident that if elected, I would be able to incorporate the skills I gained within these years to ensure the role of treasurer is performed efficiently. 

Since joining this society, I have been blown away by the level of support and camaraderie found within its ranks. This is something I will strive to build upon if chosen for a position this year.
