Being part of MedTech for the last 2 years has been amazing, helping me grow with the society. I am honoured to be running for President.

Working in the senior committee has allowed me to grasp the operations of the society. I enjoyed co-leading our first Women in MedTech conference, facilitating speaker interviews, producing content for the portal, and organising teams in the committee.

This expertise puts me in the perfect position to run the society next year. Here is what I am most excited about:

1. New projects: A community podcast, hackathon, industry trips and inter-university collaborations. I look forward to introducing new events to engage our members, helping represent themselves, explore the industry and build impactful products.

2. Changes in committee structure: Introducing chairs for each of our flagship events (AI in Medicine, Women in MedTech) decentralises event management. It gives each sub-team creative control and pushes for innovation. I hope to effectively coordinate between teams, uniting them under our mission.

3. Community: Facilitating conversations about MedTech in our events and portal, will always be a part of our values. As a STEM student, exchanging ideas with people from other disciplines helps me discover interesting new areas like AI aided drug discovery.

I am determined to build MedTech UCL as a core hub of knowledge and diverse opportunities, brought together by our passion for using tech to better healthcare!
