Hi everyone!

As some of you know, I am a Biomedical Sciences student, going into my third year. During my time at UCL, I have become involved in running several societies, including of course LSS, in which I am currently the Vice President, but also MedTech UCL, Kinesis Magazine, and UCL SciCon.

In the past, I have organized many science-related events. This year, as a Vice-President of UCL SciCon, I ran several Pizza&PhD events and co-organised the Science Internship Fair, but (maybe more importantly) I am coordinating the work of the committee and making sure everybody knows what to do and feels good in their roles. As part of LSS, I participated in the transfer and module talks, and last year, I was involved in running the LSS's meeting with the Nobel Laureate Robert Lefkowitz. All those experiences made me aware of the many different ways to organize creative and interesting events.

During the last year, I have been a Vice President of LSS and UCL SciCon, an experience that taught me a lot about leading a society. This year, I am running for LSS President, as I believe I can do much more within the society, especially with the pandemic restrictions hopefully going away. I would make sure that we will be hosting some of the world's best scientists and innovators at our events, as well as running great socials.
