Join us for a collaboration event between Free Hype and Kinesis Magazine!!
For the first hour, Free Hype Society will introduce key principles of illustration, sharing foundational tips and techniques to help you get started with confidence. This portion of the workshop will allow you to ask questions and gain insights into the basics of creating effective illustrations. In the second half of the session, you’ll have time to apply what you've learned, working independently to create some initial sketches or experiment with simple drawings.
For those of you signed up to illustrate for Kinesis Magazine Issue 14—or anyone interested in contributing—this is an excellent opportunity to practice or even begin drafting ideas for the publication. (Please contact us if you want to take a look at the article prompts in advance.)
All materials, including paint, paper, and some snacks, will be provided. We look forward to seeing your creative work in progress!
