Mapping for Change (MfC) is a social enterprise part-owned by UCL (University College London) and born from ongoing research since 1998 centred on citizen science, participatory mapping and participatory geographic information systems. MfC specialise in community engagement, aiming to empower individuals and communities to make a difference to their local area through the use of mapping and geographical information. With over twelve years' experience providing bespoke solutions to public, private and third sector organisations, we have delivered more than 50 projects, both in London and internationally, aiming to: collate public perception, interpret and present results, trace impact, disseminate engagement activities, track changes over time, identify key areas for planning, etc. Ultimately, we give the community a voice.
