Scouts (West London)
As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, we help over 460,000 young people aged 6-25 enjoy fun and adventure while developing the skills they need to succeed, now and in the future. We’re talking about teamwork, leadership and resilience – skills that have helped Scouts become everything from…

We're very interested to hear from UCL students who'd like to offer a couple of hours a week to support our Beaver, Cub and Scout Sections across west London.

Time commitment

Two hours a week on a regular commitment - ideally for at least six months.
What measures have you put in place to ensure volunteers’ safety during COVID-19?
We're ensuring all our leaders, volunteers and beneficiaries abide by full government guidance. All our leaders are trained and fully-apprised of what they're able to do in-line with COVID-19 safety guidance - something particularly importance as we start to return to face-to-face activities.

This organisation is one of our community partner organisations.

Like all volunteer recruiters we work with, they have signed up to our service standards, agreeing to abide by our policy on partnership working.

In addition, the team here at Students’ Union UCL Volunteering Service is here to support you throughout your volunteering journey – you can get in touch at any time with any questions, queries or problems you encounter.
