Description

The Eswatini office of VSO has undertaken data collection for a case study focused on engaging stakeholders for improved sexual reproductive health services in Eswatini. The country team undertook data collection through key informant interviews and focus group discussions. Data has been transcribed but is yet to be analysed. VSO requires support from a post graduate student to analyse the qualitative data and prepare a case study report within a report template to be provided by VSO.

Duties

The volunteer would be responsible for

  • Attending online meetings with the Eswatini team to receive an introduction to the Eswatini context.
  • Analysis of qualitative data, including project reports and reach data.
  • Report writing.
  • Presentation to VSO team.
Who will the volunteers be working with?
The volunteer will be working with the Eswatini programmes team involved in implementation of the project, and collection of the data. They will also be working with members of the Knowledge, Evidence and Learning Team who oversee research and learning activities, review reports, etc.

Time commitment

There are no restrictions in terms of where or when the task can be completed, but the Eswatini team are based in a time which is one hour ahead of UK. The volunteer would need to be available on an as needs basis to attend calls in this time zone, which can be scheduled in advance.
