Hi Consulting Society Members!
I'm Allen, a second-year IT & Business student at UCL. Ever since being a fresher, I have been an active member of the society, attending case study sessions to client projects and other wonderful events that the committee has organised for us.
As my passion for consulting is deeply impregnated in my lifestyle, I have taken the opportunity to pitch my ideas to you and run for the President of Consulting Society!
Some of the ideas that I think would benefit all the members include:
1) Create an inclusive space for people who want to learn more about the consulting business. We need informative sessions for beginners to learn more and discover if they want to pursue a career in this domain. This will nonetheless attract amazing talent!
2) Develop application clinics for people who want to better understand the process behind getting accepted by big names such as McKinsey, BCG and Bain and Big 4.
3) Drive more diverse clients projects industries such as: TMT, FMCG or even Pharma! It is vital that the Consulting Society has a breadth of opportunities for people!
The tips & tricks I have learned as a former Summer Consultant at Kearney can be of great interest to the whole community and that's why I am eager to share them with you! We can build a stronger, more diverse group at UCL Consulting Soc!
Don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions! Happy to answer any of your queries :)

The vision I have for the UCLCS is to provide opportunities for members to develop an enriching experience by:
- Enhancing the society's website by creating a more dynamic and interactive tool.
- Educating our members about consulting from the Big 4 (EY, Deloitte, PwC, and KPMG) and prestigious firms (MBB, Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger).
- Increasing events for members to interact with case study workshops & forming a partner system to train and practice for case study interviews.
- Cultivating an inclusive and diverse atmosphere within the society, as well as incrementing the society's sponsorships.
As a Technology Executive, I produced my own content that I delivered in a Python workshop. Students provided positive feedback on my enthusiasm, conscientiousness, and professionalism. I then formed a partnership with the UCL DSS to present weekly Python sessions to students. It would be a honuor and privilege as your next president to represent the society and its members.
