Description
We are looking for friendly volunteers to help support our creative Sunday Social sessions for over 55s which happens on the last Sunday of every month at Holborn House. Sessions are designed to bring people together to try new creative activities, enjoy a free lunch and meet new people. Previous sessions have included print-making, watercolours, card-making, dance, and creative writing.
Duties
Volunteers will work alongside our artist facilitators to support older people to join in with the activities as well as prepare lunch and refreshments. It is a relaxed group, and we invite volunteers to join in and have a chat with participants as well as get involved in the creative activity.
Who will the volunteers be working with?
Adults and older people aged 55+
Time commitment
Ideally we would like volunteers to commit to one session every month (usually last Sunday of every month) for the duration of 6 months.
