Speak Street
We are a positive response to negativity towards migrants. We provide free ESOL sessions, mainly based in Camden and Islington, for refugees and migrants in London. Our sessions are based on fun, social learning and we often use interesting community spaces such as museums, galleries and gardens for our interactive classes.

Do you have a way with words? Write blog post and or social media content for Speak Street to share and spread the positive message of the benefits of welcoming newcomers to the the UK. We are currently looking from someone to run an online crowd funding campaign to digitalise our resources.
Duties
- To raise awareness of Speak Street to potential students, partners and funders
- To run an online fundraising campaign
- To share our positive messages of welcoming and celebrating newcomers to our diverse city.
- To write feature blog posts and create social media content using Canva.
- To support a social media and marketing strategy.
- Opportunity to visit our face to face sessions and some of London's top attractions of drop in on an online class
- Uphold our safeguarding and privacy guidelines.
Who will the volunteers be working with?
Speak Street team and volunteers.
Training
You will have an induction and training on how to use any necessary programmes.
Time commitment
Weekly commitment in term time although this can be flexible around your studies. Although we will need to meet a few times face to face in London (NW1) most of this can be conducted online.
