Who are we?Save a Baby's Life is a voluntary organisation, run by UCL students in conjunction with the Royal Life Saving Society since 2011.We teach infant and child life-saving skills (cardiopulmonary resuscitation, drowning and choking) to anyone willing to learn. Want to learn how to save a baby's life? Join our team of volunteers and learn how to do CPR as well as how to help a choking child and what to do if a baby drowns.

You will be trained by the Royal Life Saving Society and receive a Life Support 3 and Community Instructor Qualifications!

With this new-found knowledge, you will teach parents and carers lifesaving skills at children centres and schools across London.

Duties

Teaching parents and carers across London basic life support for infants and young children.

Training
All new volunteers are trained by the Royal Life Saving Society. After successfully completing the training, you will receive a certificate and a qualification which lasts 2 years!

Time commitment

Once a term but you can volunteer as many times as you like! Our sessions are usually on Wednesdays in the early afternoon.

This is an opportunity offered by a Student-Led Volunteering Project. It is run by UCL students and supported and supervised by staff in Students' Union UCL Volunteering Service.
